JKA Karate Winnipeg

The instructor, Sensei John Selinger, Rokudan with the Japan Karate Association (JKA). He has been practicing karate with the JKA for more than 40 years, and teaching for over 35.

As an internationally certified JKA Instructor, Examiner and Judge, he is one of an elite group in Canada. Some highlights of his competition history include being Manitoba, Western Canadian, and Canadian champion. He has also represented Canada in international team competition.
