The instructor, Sensei Joel Crisp, Godan with the Japan Karate Association (JKA). A certified JKA instructor and judge, Sensei Crisp has been practicing karate with the JKA since 1981, and has been head instructor at JKA Winnipeg West Karate since 2004.
